Ilana Dayan Zadik is an Israeli painter and jeweler. She began painting after she was involved in a car accident in 1992. Ilana attended the Vitzo Art School in Israel, and continued her art studies with private instructors where she learned various techniques.
"I never dreamed I would become a professional painter, but the more I learned the more I realized that the road ahead of me is long, challenging and interesting."
Her paintings are diverse. Her works have been done in both oil and acrylic paint. Her pieces lean towards the impressionist-realist.
Ilana recently finished a project that she had worked on for several years for the "Central Park " Hotel in Eilat, Israel. The paintings are on permanent display throughout the hotel.
Ilana also makes handmade jewelry using a variety of gemstones, custom lampwork, and precious metals.
